One of my favourite parts of weddings or Indian gatherings in general (since dancing was a staple in Deepavali parties when I was growing up) is the dance choreography.

A friend who recently got married asked me to help with choreographing some dances. I had a great time putting together her couple dance, a dance for her mother and aunties, and one for the bride and her girlfriends.

Like most people, she was in love with the Team Naach choreography of Ek Ladki (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV3tnozUDAI) and wanted to do that for the dance with all the girls.

So over one afternoon, I learnt the above choreography (challenging with having to watch the video on half speed and do it with my back to the TV so I would get right and left correct) and then simplifying to this version.
